Most of our Commercial Two-Way Handhelds are rated IP67, some of our most popular IP67 rated Handhelds are ICOM IC-41PRO and Kenwood TK3710. We also have Mobile radios available which are IP67, such as the GME TX4610.

• For UHF CB:
  • Channel 40 & 29– Truckies channel
  • Channel 18: Caravans/motorhomes
  • Channel 10: 4WDs
  • Channel 05/35: Emergency use only
  • Channel 11: Officially designated calling channel
  • Channel 01-08/41-48: Repeater channels (channels 31-38/71-78 are the repeater input channels)

We sell a variety of products for personal, business or government use. We would recommend you either call us or visit us instore to discuss your specific requirements.
Some models are made to Military specification which will stand up better in a commercial environment.

• Our UHF CB products do not require a licence to be used straight out of the box e.g. GME, Uniden, Icom IC41pro & Kenwood TK3710.
• Operating a radio on a private frequency (outside UHF CB) does require a licence, we can arrange this via ACMA, as well as custom programming to suit your requirements.

We have a fleet of rental radios available for short-term or long-term hire; contact us to discuss your rental requirements.

Commex hourly rate @ $110/hr

• The rental fees/charges for 2way radios are as follows:
• 1 day: $14.00 per radio per day
• 2 days (weekend): $10.50 per radio per day
• 7 days: $9.50 per radio per day
• 14 days: $8.50 per radio per day
• Monthly: $7.50 per radio per day
• 3 Months: $5.50 per radio per day
• 6 Months: $3.50 per radio per day
• Annually: $2.50 per radio per day
• Earpieces: $2.50 per earpiece per day
• H/duty Headsets: $10 per headset per day

Absolutely! We have a workshop facility on our premises where we can fit your radio or can be fitted on site if required.

We offer manufacturer’s warranty on our products, which varies from brand to brand.

• Yes, we can help you program your radios to suit your requirements.
• Radios should be approved for use in Australia – All the brands Commex sells are approved for use in Australia.
