Commex Communications was founded in 1989.
Owner John Dahl started his career in 2 way radio back in 1955, his interest in 2way radio has been a passion for the last 60+ years, from amateur radio operator to RF radio and antenna design it was a natural progression to start his own business with his wife Lynne and son Mark to provide quality radio communications to Brisbane and now all over Australia.

- UHF CB operates at a much higher frequency (477MHz) than 27MHz, antennas made for 27MHz cannot be used with 477MHz.
- UHF CB uses frequency modulation (FM); while 27MHz uses amplitude modulation and or single side band modulation (AM/SSB).
We have a UHF CB product (GME XRS series) that can be controlled via downloadable mobile phone app (available for both Apple/Android tablets). We also have POC – Push to Talk over Cellular. POC Radios can be operated via Phone or Computer.
