Radios generally take a flogging. Radios get wet, they get dropped, they get driven over, they are exposed to chemicals, heat, cold, dust, and all kinds of tough stuff. The people who use them have important jobs so when a radio stops working, that person’s effectiveness on the jobsite is diminished significantly.

It is simply not cost effective to replace every radio that fails. 

At Commex we have a fully equipped radio repair centre where we service radios that are brought or sent in to us. We also have two Mobile Service Vans that will come out to you if you need it.

Our qualified technicians are skilled at repairing radios from most of the tier 1 manufacturers such as Motorola, Kenwood, Tait, ICOM, Vertex Standard (to name only a few) as well as brands such as Uniden and GME.

We repair everything from base-stations, repeaters, mobile and handheld radios, even mobile phones. 

If it is a communications device, the chances are we’ll know how to fix it.

We are often asked to reccomend and make modifications to customers' equipment so as to solve specific local problems, and we are authorized to complete warranty repairs for the Kenwood and GME brands.

We are aware that radios are usually mission critical so we take care to ensure that all of our repair work is done to the highest standard, and we strive to keep the turnaround time as quick as possible. We can even help you with a hire radio if you need one while yours is out of commission.
